through a sea of red tail lights.
First snow drew first blood.

Pavement waves roll slow
through a sea of red tail lights.
First snow drew first blood.

Always hated the black ice….not much where I live now.
Right. Me too. Every year it seems that over the summer everyone forgets how to drive in the snow… and the first icy days turn every expressway into a deathtrap…
Yeah,
Been ‘there’. OUCH.
Yeah. I’ve given up on the expressways, & prefer the back roads whenever possible…
Yes, a dark haiku… for me I go into a dark daydream. A reverie, and I think of haiku I could write. So you’ve inspired me!
Ahhh… well then…. to inspire is indeed a great compliment. Thank you. =)
