Be Here Now

I love this song…   “Be Here Now”, by Ray LaMontagne.  I heard it (again) recently, and when another blogger reminded me of an old poem of mine, Empty Spaces, I realized I never added a song to that one as I often do.  This song seemed perfect, so I added it there.  and also felt like it was very fitting for this grey, winter day as I am heading back out into the cold…
A reminder to just be.

The Wall…

Today, I didn’t write a poem, or anything else for that matter (other than 5000 emails)…  but, have been listening to some favorite tunes while working…  This is one of my all time fav’s… has been for a very long time, and probably always will be.  So, I thought I’d share it here in it’s entirety – and without one of my personal poems cluttering it up…

The Wall

“I’m woven in a fantasy
I can’t believe the things I see
The path that I have chosen now
has led me to a wall
And with each passing day
I feel a little more like something dear was lost
It rises now before me
a dark and silent barrier between

New Blog… Same Sam…

I have been thinking of moving my blog for a while now…  for a few very good reasons that probably won’t mean much to anyone else.  Mostly, I felt like branching out a little…  and felt like it was time for a change.    I posted links to here from my old blog – so hopefully folks who still want to find me, will find me.  I’ve “met” a lot of very talented and cool people while blogging and I have no intentions of ditching any of you…

Now…  if you were hoping to never have to deal with me again – well, here’s your big chance… ;)
